 Beauty from all sides at Villa Hermosa. This is where Maricela, professor of Spanish and Literature has been welcoming travelers since July 2015; with her local helpers, she runs the daily duties in this lovely large brand-new blue casa, located on the seaside road with a cool veranda.  Here everything is simple, the atmosphere is quiet, modern comfort and traditional Cuban hospitality with the sea on the other side of the carretera entering the village of La Boca at its Ancon-Casilda end where the peninsula stretches and its line of three beachside hotels.  The large property is located on a vast lot partially shaded and decorated by nature with trees and flowers, 2 km from the famous natural pool (scuba diving) named Batea; three kilometers from Playa Maria Aguilar (and its restaurant) and five kilometers from the three all-inclusives of playa Ancon.   Two air-conditioned and ventilated large bedrooms (one with two beds), beautifully furnished and well-appointed are available for rent each with ensuite bathroom (with great water pressure provided by a strong hydro pump) and their own independent access from the back porch. The rooms each have direct access to the veranda and hammock or rocking chairs. They also offer views either on the Escambray side or el mar. The other two bedrooms in the house are for owners.   |

A really nice and vast living room with rockers, a comedor filled with natural light and the kitchen with its open space and an adjoining shared bathroom. There is a pantry and the courtyard has fruit trees (avocado, lemon, coconut, apple, etc.) providing some ingredients for a good mojito; In addition, guests may enjoy organic vegetables and fruit; staff will offer customers a complimentary natural fruit juice from the casa's own melons and lemons.
Some services are available at an extra charge: bike rental for 4 CUC per day; Havana airport door to door transfer for 35cuc per person; taxis from the casa to Trinidad or the beaches; American convertible car trips to the valley of Los Ingenios (sugar mills) including San Isidro, Manaca and Guaimaro sites. |

Rodney Delgado is the owner of Casa Villa Hermosa; he is Maricela's so and lives mostly in France. He built the house by the end of 2014 and had it "tested" with friends before welcoming his first customers in July 2015.
Rates : 30 CUC per night per bedroom in high season; 25 in low. Meals served with salad, etc., per person: Cerdo o Pollo (chicken or pork); fish or shrimp ; Langosta, 15cuc; prices vary from 8 to 12CUC; breakfasts 5 CUC; laundry service, parking. |
