CAVEAT EMPTOR
Please be aware that some casas have so many requests for bookings that they regularly overbook their rooms, resulting in a very unpleasant moment for travellers who arrive at the casa — having had their reservation confirmed by e-mail and reconfirmed by phone — only to find out there is no room and that "we made a mistake, we're sorry and yada yada, yada". The owners are not sorry because they have arranged another casa where they will get a 5cuc commission for every night the disillusioned travellers unwillingly spend there.
