Armando, a great host who has been renting for decades.	The large renovated colonial of Armando ("Mandy"), boasts two ground floor ac bedrooms with ensuites, tv, hair dryer and two beds (single and double); one has a mezzanine with two more beds. The third br is above, very large with two beds and all the amenities of a five-star hotel bedroom. The 4th bedroom is in the back of the ground floor, a kind of mini-apartment in black & white tiles with air-conditioning, private shower and bath (a real one), toilet, table, fridge, sink and counter with double and single beds. Large, well-decorated living room, excellent cuisine (Armando picks up ideas from his regular trips to Europe), musica and joie de vivre are all part of Armando's hospitality. Guests may check email or browse the Internet using Etecsa's pennies-per-hour (125cup for 5 hours) cards. The cozy and well-appointed rooftop terrace partially shaded boasts nice views of the city and serves as a dining area. Armando manages well in English and can get along in Goethe's mother tongue. Highly recommended. Rates : 25Euros/Dollars per bedroom per night.









Modern casa with best food in Cuba "What a nice place and nice host! I really enjoyed my stay here. I found small things that could be improved but I want to focus on the good stuff first. The room was huge and very clean. Bathroom was spacious as well and equiped with proper shower, makeup mirrors and 220 voltage plugs. Bed was big and comfortable. The host, Armando, was very friendly and welcoming. He speaks good English and helped me to get a casa from the next destination. He didn't disturb me with pointless stuff like tours. Now that I think of it, the place felt more like a hotel than a casa. But don't think this is a hotel because it is not. During my four weeks in Cuba I had the best breakfast and dinner in La Villa Soñada. They asked me what kind of food I like and what I got was simply delicious and the meals were huge. This is the only place in Cuba where spicy food was actually spicy! The rooftop terrace where dinner is served is really nice and has a pretty sunset view to Matanzas. 	LA VILLA SOÑADA Armando Machado Vega La gran casa colonial del atento y encantador Armando ("Mandy") establece, en el patio central, dos habitaciónes (cada una con dos camas) con aire acondicionado, cuarto de baño adentro, refri y tele y secador (una con dos camas individuales en el entresuelo). Ademas, arriba el principal cuarto climatizado con cama doble, mesa, sillas y grande baño interior esta situado en el techo, al lado de una de las terrazas Cocina excelente, música y la alegría son parte de la hospitalidad. Una vez allí, usted puede revisar su correo electrónico. Armando habla el Inglés y puede acomodar a la lengua de Goethe y la de Molière. Una dirección para recordar y recomender !
