Greisy, the trilingual grand-daughter (French, Russian) of Martha helps manage the rental of five ac bedrooms, each with ensuite, in front and behind the kitchen and dining room on this huge floor.

Patio-terrace on the open roof. Martha has been renting since 2002. Guarded parking close by.

Rates : 25-30cuc per bedroom per night; breakfast, 5cuc, dinners 8-12cuc; laundry service.

"Martha, the owner was very kind and we were given a warm welcome. Every day we had fresh beer and water in the refrigerator. The breakfast was excelllent every day with coffee, fruits, fruit juice, eggs, everything was prepared as per our liking. A wonderful house with a great terrace on the roof, where we spent nice evenings. Very central with view of the parque. My husband and I stayed there 3 nights and we will do it again for a longer period, because Cienfuegos is a very interesting city. We had an excellent sight seeing with the bike taxi of Raoul." "Es una preciosa casa colonial situada en un primer piso, por lo que el ruido de la calle no se filtra tanto al interior. Martha nos trató como una perfecta anfitriona aconsejándonos por lugares para visitar y sobre posibles peligros de fraude. La decoración está bastante cuidada y dispone de un par de terrazas con magníficas vistas sobre el parque José Martí. Vimos varias casas y estas está en muy buenas condiciones y en una situación privilegiada. No te lo pienses y reserva tu habitación con Martha (para nosotros la mejor es la más cercana a la cocina, la más tranquila y luminosa). El coche de alquiler puedes aparcarlo frente a la puerta, donde hay un parque de bomberos abierto 24 horas e ir andando a todos sitios." Heroico, jan 2014, tripad visor
